One of our most popular collections is the French soap on rope, this is both a practical and an attractive addition to your bath and shower routine. All of these soaps are 100% vegetal, paraben free and enriched with shea butter. Shea butter is fat that’s been extracted from shea tree nuts. It’s off-white or ivory-colored and has a creamy consistency that’s rich and moisturising. Most shea butter comes from shea trees in West Africa. High concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make shea butter an ideal cosmetic ingredient for softening skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties, which makes it an ideal soap ingredient. Our French soaps are cleansing and hydrating, see below for a selection of our favourites. Sheep's Milk Soap On A Rope

This 100g oval shaped soap with a cotton rope is a perfect addition to any bathroom. Sheep's milk mixed with almond oil and shea butter is especially gentle on the skin. Sheep's milk soap is intensely moisturising because of the fats in the sheep milk. Sheep milk has lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid, which is a gentle and natural skin exfoliant, so acts to brighten skin for a youthful glow. It also reduces redness and breakouts because of the anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties found in sheep milk protein. The high concentration of vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin E, protects & repairs skin to preserve and improve the appearance. This beautiful soap is softly scented with meadow fragrance.

Floral: while cotton flower is above all clean and fresh, it also possesses delicate floral nuances. Suitable for most wall-mounted soap holders. It comes with a rope to hang it in the shower. It is very practical as slipping it around the wrist avoids dropping it in the shower. It also helps the soap to dry between uses, making it last much longer.

This handmade Savon écolier (school soap) is also a wall-mounted rotating French Soap and fits most wall-mounted soap holders. It comes with a rope to hang it in the shower making it extremely practical. The rope can be used around the wrist for ease of use and hung up to dry between to uses.
