Tuberose is a highly fragrant perennial flower that is related to the agave plant, not in fact the rose. This flower has much meaning around the world and plays popular and important roles in many cultures. In traditional Hawaiian weddings, for example, it is customary for the bride to wear a Tuberose wreath. Tuberosa flowers are also used during Indian wedding ceremonies for decorative purposes. It has a long history in the world of perfumery and is believed to have originated in Mexico.
